Supermarket, liquor store, fine dining, athletic center with outdoor pool, day spa, Pilates studio, yoga studio, wellness center, massage, beauty salon, ATM banking, UPS/mail center, the Pathways for biking or walking, area buses, and other conveniences in the complex are all less than a five minute walk from our front door– you can’t beat that for a Jackson Hole vacation!

We’re also a three minute walk to the Teton Pines country club entrance for golf, tennis, cross country skiing, and fine dining!Our top Woodlands townhome/condo is right up front at The Aspens at The Jackson Hole Racquet Club which is the first full service community past Teton Village “the mountain” and about four-five miles door-to-door by car.

Don’t be fooled by other rental condos in the back of the Aspens community that boast using the free shuttle bus. The Aspens does offer a free shuttle bus around the community and to the Village, but it runs about every 45 minutes, with a lunch break.However, since our premiere Woodlands area is right in the front of The Aspens, you don’t have to rely on the Aspens shuttle bus and wait for it to arrive– you can easily walk about the equivalent of a city block to the public START bus that runs very frequently– it’s $2 to the Village and $3 to the Town of Jackson or Snow King Resort- another ski area in town.

The convenience of being right up front is a terrific perk on icy days and frigid nights. Plus, if you happen to catch the free shuttle bus to or from Teton Village, it’s an option, not a necessity!Of course a car is great in Jackson Hole, but city slickers can certainly get around with public transportation and a quick walk right from our front door.Convenience is key with our Wyoming condo located at The Aspens at The Jackson Hole Racquet Club!

Things to do for kids in Jackson Hole: There are so many things to do for kids in Jackson Hole, that children will never be bored! Our JH vacation rental is right near the children’s playground in the Aspens and the Jackson Hole Community Pathway where you can bike, rollerblade, or take a scenic walk.

From our parking area, you can hear the sounds of children playing in the outdoor pool at Teton Sports Club where you can enjoy visitor rates!

The JH Teton County Rec Center in the Town of Jackson has an incredible indoor swimming area, with a huge children’s pool, small slide, and an awesome multi-story slide. For some good old western family entertainment, the Aspens is only 2 driveways way from the Bar J Chuckwagon.

The Kids Ranch offers unsurpassed children’s activities in winter and summer.Dining in Jackson Hole One can never go hungry in Jackson Hole with so many fine and family dining venues. We’re a quick walk to Westside Deli where you can purchase yummy, fresh premade meals or groceries to cook your own in our well appointed kitchen or outdoor grill. The Aspens also offers terrific sushi at Mizu Sushi, Austrian fare at Steigler’s or dining at the Teton Pines Country Club- all in walking distance! Our favorite Jackson Hole restaurants are Rendezvous Bistro, The Gunbarrel, The Peaks at The Four Seasons, Nani’s Genuine Pasta, Masa Sushi in The Village, Billys Burgers, Vertical, Off Broadway, the absolutely gorgeous vista of the Tetons from Dornan’s Pasta and Pizza in Moose, Million Dollar Cowboy, Jedediah’s House of Sourdough, and the amazing feeling of being in a cabin in the sky at The Granary at Spring Creek Resort. Walk right over to the Teton Pines Country Club and enjoy one of the top mountain golf facilities. See them for more information and fees. If tennis is your thing, the Teton Pines Country Club offers courts as well. See their site for information and rates.Skiing Information: Jackson Hole Mountain resort in Teton Village is less than a 5 minute drive and boasts 2,500 acres of unsurpassed inbounds terrain, a 4,139′ vertical rise, 459′ of average snowfall each winter, and incredible backcountry access. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort consists of two distinct mountains in the heart of the Tetons – Rendezvous and Après Vous – and has been home to incredible skiing and snowboarding for the past 40 years.There s also a terrific Nordic trail and fantastic skiing camp and opportunities for children at the Kids Ranch, but you can walk right over from our front door  to the Teton Pines to Nordic or Classic Ski as well!

If the Village is not your thing or you want to try something different, a local favorite is Snow King Resort near the Town of Jackson and accessible by the public Start bus or car. For a diversion, Grand Targee famous for its legendary powder is available by shuttle service.

Things to do in Jackson Hole when you don’t ski!

If you want time away from the slopes, there are plenty of things to keep you busy particularly if you love wildlife. The Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride gets you up close to herds of elks. The National Museum of Wildlife Art overlooks the National Elk Refuge and offers phenomenal western art. Besides great shops and a picture postcard western look, The Town of Jackson is chock full of art galleries to explore; summer Saturday s offer a Farmer s Market.

There are some bighorn sheep to spot near the elk refuge, but you ve got a better chance to see the beauties if you take a scenic ride to the town of Dubois and check in at the National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center. Keep your eye open in the parks for moose and herds of bison.

Take an unforgettable Dog Sled ride. We love snowmobiling in Towgotee; outfitters can take you to Yellowstone or Granite Creek for guided or unguided snowmobile rides. In the summer, you can kayak whitewater raft, or a scenic float trip along the Snake River.
